Air Link Communication Limited (AIRLINK), Pakistan’s only listed Mobile Manufacturer has entered into an ‘Apple Authorized Reseller’ Agreement with Apple South Asia Pte. Ltd. (Apple), a subsidiary of Apple International.
The notice issued to the company said that Air Link Ltd has been authorized by Apple to resell Apple “Authorized Products’ in Pakistan.
This is expected to be a major revenue booster for Airlink Communication, as initial estimates suggest roughly 100,000 Apple Mobile phones are sold in Pakistan, This translates into Revenue ranging from Rs. 10 billion to Rs. 15 billion.
Authorized Resellers have margins ranging between 5% to 10%. With conservative estimates, Airlink Revenue may increase by Rs. 150 million (Assuming 20% market share).
