Pakistan’s Cement exports increased by 3.26% in FY2020-2021 compared to the last fiscal year.
According to the Pakistani Bureau of Statistics Office (PBS), cement exports in July-June (2020-2021) were $ 267.910 million, compared to $ 259.441 million in July-June (2019-20).
In terms of volume, cement exports also increased by 9.77%, rising from 7,119,834 tons to 7,815,153 metric tons, according to the PBS data.
Cement exports in June 2021 decreased by 15.42% year-on-year compared to the corresponding month last year.
Cement exports in June 2021 totaled $ 14.325 million, up from $ 16.937 million in June 2020.
PBS data showed that cement exports also fell 49.79 percent on a monthly basis in June 2021 from $ 28.528 million in May 2021.
