Emirates Airlines has continued its flights suspension for flights originating from Pakistan and other South Asian countries to Dubai until 28 July’2021.
In the latest news , the airline announced that at the direction of the UAE government, Emirates will suspend passenger services from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Dubai until 28 July 2021.
“In addition, passengers who have transited via India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in the past 14 days will not be able to fly to any other location in the UAE,” the warning said.
Emirates announced that UAE citizens, UAE Golden Visa holders and members of diplomatic missions complying with updated COVID-19 protocols are tax-exempt and can be accepted for travel.
The flight suspension will continue as Pakistan grapples with a new wave of the Covid-19 virus and the growth of the deadly volatile estuary has become a problem for the authorities, who have taken tougher measures to contain its spread.
The COVID cases in Pakistan topped One million on Friday.
