Graana.com and United Bank Limited (UBL) have partnered up to promote housing finance in Pakistan. In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between two companies, mutually agreeing to facilitate direct and indirect Graana customers for UBL housing finance.
The document was signed by Shafiq Akbar, CEO of Graana.com, and Zia Ijaz, president of UBL Group (a banking branch).
The signing ceremony took place at UBL Headquarters in Karachi and was witnessed by the Director of the Graana.com Group, Mr. Farhan Javid, Director of Agency21 International, Mr. Sharjil A. Emer, Director of PropSure, Mr. Taimurul Haq Abbasi, Regional Sales Manager – South, Usama Khan, Head of Retail Banking, Muhammad Anas, Head of Consumer Lending, Muhammad Waqas Rana, Head of Mortgage Lending, Syed Wedan Haider Al Zaidi and officials from both entities.
Graana.com CEO thanked Shafiq Akbar and said that housing is a basic need of every citizen and the understanding between UBL and Graana.com will open up new housing finance opportunities to help citizens.
This agreement allows UBL and Graana.com to easily assist customers, partners, and businesses with UBL housing financing. This will be available exclusively to Graana.com customers, premium partners and companies acquired through aggregator partners / real estate agents.
In addition, Graana will support UBL in identifying and mapping selected leads for the Government’s Joint Support Program (G-MSS).
