Pakistan’s national airline PIA and the country’s largest bank, HBL, have signed an exclusive agreement for discounts to HBL customers on all international and domestic flights.
The agreement was signed between PIA CEO Arshad Malik and HBL CEO Muhammad Aurangzeb. The event was attended by Sultan Ali Alana, Chairman of the Board of HBL, and senior executives from both institutions.
HBL and PIA have been in partnership spanning many successful transactions. HBL is PIA’s leading banking partner and the main provider of services for PIA’s banking needs at home and abroad.
HBL’s partnership with National Carrier spans multiple product lines, including nationwide fees, payments and payroll management, point of sale systems, and trade finance. The two organizations have also worked together on a number of overseas and domestic finance solutions, such as HBL’s recent involvement in a long-term US dollar co-financing agreement and the latest PIA family proposals.
Through this alliance, HBL credit card holders can enjoy exclusive discounts on their domestic and international travel through PIA. PIA is committed to promoting tourism in Pakistan, especially the beautiful scenery provided by the government. HBL is the market leader in bank and credit cards and has the largest number of cardholders, helping to realize this vision. Transactions can be made at PIA cash desks (domestic and international), as well as through the company’s website, making the process convenient and hassle-free for customers.
Air Marshal Arshad Malik congratulated both teams on the creation of a new dimension in the country.
