While rejecting the accusations made by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Jazz, Pakistan’s leading mobile operator and digital company filed a lawsuit against the company worth Rs10 billion, citing baseless allegations.
The allegations in question revolve around the power sources used by Jazz’s towers, which rely on generators for backup power, sources close to the matter told Mettis Link News on Wednesday.
Jazz clarified that all of its generators are diesel-operated and none of its towers are equipped with gas-operated generators, debunking the claims made by SNGPL.
A spokesperson for Jazz expressed concerns over the potential harm these baseless allegations could cause to investor confidence.
