Pakistan’s Second largest Mobile Telecom company, Mobilink Jazz Sales revenue reached PKR200 billion in 2020 marking a mere 1% growth Year-on-Year. This came amid COVID19 pandemic and increased competition.
Average Revenue per User (ARPU) continues to struggle as it fell to PKR 241 ARPU per month, much lower than the highest figure reached of PKR 271 ARPU/month.
Jazz Earnings before Interest,Tax, Depreciation and Amortization increased by 7 percent year-on-year in 2020 to around PKR 100 billion due to cost savings initiatives of the company.
During the year, Jazz was able to incur PKR 40 billion operational capital expernditure.
All in all, the tough patch for Jazz, seems to be over as company’s financial strength is increasing. Coming years, may further bolster the financials as economy recovers from COVID19 shock.
