In an announcement made at Pakistan Stock Exchange, National Refinery Limited (NRL) has announced that it has started supplying High-Speed Diesel compliant with Euro-V specifications from its DHDS up-gradation plants which were commissioned in June 2017. As per the notice, this will help the company in avoiding any regulatory penalties that are likely to be imposed on HSD production below Euro-V standards.

Pakistan’s refinery industry is gradually upgrading itself with Technological innovations. It is expected that a potential 1.3mn bpd of expansion projects are proposed for over the next decade taking total domestic refining capacity to beyond 1.73mn bpd from 0.43mn bps capacity currently.
