Naveena Steel, a subsidiary of the Naveena Group, is an upcoming steel player in Pakistan which is aiming to raise the bar for strength and durability with its groundbreaking technologies.

Pakistan remains a developing market in the global steel industry and Naveena Steel is committed to developing it. The brand understands that the country’s steel sector needs high-quality steel rods to provide the foundations for modern and contemporary designs. Thus, the company is introducing innovative methods to the country’s Steel and construction sector.

Inspired by its brand philosophy of “New Force for a New Era”, Naveena Steel aims to revolutionize Pakistan’s steel industry with the most advanced manufacturing facilities in use around the world.

Naveena Steel’s new project consists of a smelting and re-rolling plant located in the port of Qasim with a production capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year of rolled steel Bars.

The brand also boasts of its “straight rolling” technology, which converts steel billets into steel bars without any reheat fixtures, thus avoiding heat and energy losses from the steel.

Pakistan was ranked fifth on the list of countries most vulnerable to climate change in the 2020 annual report according to the Global Climate Risk Index, with the manufacturing sector being one of the largest sources of pollution in the country.

Thus, the introduction of environmentally friendly means of production, especially in the steel industry, is considered significant. The state-of-the-art Naveena Steel plant, equipped with Italian technology, provides carbon savings that benefit the environment in the long term.

The steel is produced in accordance with international sustainability standards using the latest European direct rolling technologies, ensuring the best quality of rebar. Pakistan is also one of the countries most likely to suffer from water shortages by 2025.

To meet the need for efficient and smart use of the country’s water resources, the Naveena Steel Greenfield project ensures that liquids are not dumped, ensuring maximum water recirculation and therefore no water loss.

Naveena Steel, certified by the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) and ISO 9001 certified, strictly adheres to the American Society for Material Testing (ASTM) standards to ensure that customers end up with high quality, high performance fittings.

Naveena Steel’s strong ambitions for 2021 and growing demand in the construction sector have prompted the brand to already plan to expand its capacity to 300,000 tons per year.
