In a letter to Pakistan Stock Exchange, Pak-Suzuki Motors has notified that it will extend the Shut Down of its Moto Cycles Manufacturing Plant till 15th September-2023.
The said plant has been shut since May-2023 owing to subdued demand and Low Inventory Level. The Balance of Payment crisis in the country has hit the Auto Industry the most as Majority of the Parts are imported. Being considered Non-Essential, the Auto parts imports were put on least priority while clearing of LCs with limited resources. Hence, the supply chain of the Entire Auto Industry is distrupted.
Pak Suzuki Motors had posted loss of PKR 9.7 billion in first six months period of Year 2023
