Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has restarted Umrah flight operations from different Airports of Pakistan to Medina and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
As per statement from PIA, the special Umrah Flights will continue till 31st December . The special Umrah Flights return fare has been fixed at Rs91,000 including all taxes from Karachi while that from other Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar will be Rs96,000.
PIA is allowing maximum baggage limit of 36kgs for each passenger travelling from Pakistan to Jeddah or Madinah.
Executive Economy class Passengers are allowed to carry 40kg baggage, while Umrah pilgrims will be permitted to carry five litres of Zamzam in addition to the baggage limit.
PIA has also commenced bookings for groups of Umrah pilgrims for which minimum size is fixed at 10 passengers. The validity of the air tickets will be a month from the date of departure.
PIA will facilitate passengers in terms for change in bookings without deducting any charges for if it is requested seven days before the date of departure.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last week allowed international airlines to bring in Umrah pilgrims with valid visas which it had earlier suspended due to the spread of coronavirus.
