1LINK (Pvt.) Limited and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and have partenered up to launch Bill aggregator service ‘Payzen’.
Payzen is being considered as advanced step in promoting financial technology to digitize Pakistan’s economy.
In this regard, a ceremony was held at PITB, and the agreement was signed by PITB CEO Faisal Yousaf and 1LINK CEO Naguib Agrawala. The ceremony was also attended by senior officials from the two organizations.
This collaboration will facilitate payment collection for a wide range of public sector entities and ensure that all digital payments meet biller accounting and reporting requirements.
Speaking on the occasion, PITB Chairman Azfar Mansoor said:
Payzen will change the rules of the game for financial inclusion and digitalization of the payment system. This will play a key role in the digitization of charge collection and payments in the public sector.
