Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and PAKSAT, have announced an agreement to foster strategic partnership for developing state-of-the-art integrated satellite services to address the increasing needs of the private and public sectors in Pakistan.
The agreement will enable PTCL to offer customers continuous connectivity through Pakistan-based satellites, which will be connected with satellite hubs and the fiber optics backbone on the ground across Pakistan.
With the agreement, PAKSAT is selected as a partner for fulfilling satellite bandwidth requirements, and supporting PTCL for deploying the existing services of PAKSAT.
This strategic partnership will enable full integration of upcoming satellite projects and satellite gateway of Ka-Band and IoT space.
