The leading food delivery platform in Pakistan Foodpanda has partnered with Women on Wheels, an initiative launched by the Salman Sufi Foundation in order to empower women to create thousands of new jobs for women.
As per the agreement, Women on Wheels will provide free motorcycle training for young women across Pakistan to train these women to become foodpanda riders in the future. The Salman Sufi Foundation will take care of the planning of the training sessions together with the training department and their services with the help of the training staff of “Women on Wheels” who are present in the field during all trainings.
Speaking of the partnership, Salman Sufi, Founder of the Salman Sufi Foundation, commented,

By promoting the mobility of women, the partnership aims to improve their freedom and integration into Pakistani society, while increasing their participation in economic life and access to education.
