Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has raised the price of the Haval Jolion crossover SUV by Rs. 295,000 , which is the company’s second price increase in three months after the car was launched in Pakistan.
The first increase was announced in June 2021, after which the price of Haval Jolion increased from Rs. 5,520,000 to Rs. 5,720,000.
The latest price increase increases the ex-factory price of the SUV to Rs. 6,020,000. Taking into account Transport and insurance premiums, the price rises to Rs. 6,057,000 .
Sazgar has notified all Showrooms of the new prices by announcing them on Monday 6 September. Car Price rise in pakistan is inevitable due to unfavourable exchange rate fluctuations. Since May-2021, the rupee has lost about 10% as the current account and trade deficit widen in the country.
The Ministry of Industry and Manufacturing recently said that car manufacturers must justify car prices in order to move forward, otherwise the government will reform car prices to lower profits for auto companies.
