Shifa Hospital Ltd announced its Annual Financial Performance where Net profit rose to Rs. 699.9 million in Fiscal Year 2021 compared to Rs. 505 million in FY2020, marking a 38 percent increase.
SHIFA’s Revenue increased by 16% to Rs. 14.23 billion, while operating costs increased at lower pace of 12% to Rs. 12.89 billion in FY2021.

The principal activity of the SHIFA Hospital is to establish and run medical centers and hospitals in Pakistan. The Company has established its first hospital in 1993 in H-8/4 Islamabad, second hospital in 2011 in Faisalabad and another in 2014 in G-10/4 Islamabad.
The Company is also running medical centers, pharmacies and Lab collection points in different cities of Pakistan. A multidisciplinary hospital namely ‘Shifa Pan African Hospitals Limited (SPAH)’ in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania is being established under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Company and Fatima Properties Limited (a company incorporated under Tanzania laws).
The Company is committed to contribute equity through its foreign subsidiary after getting regulatory approvals from relevant authorities in Pakistan
