The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) expresses confidence in the possibility of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) resuming fresh chilled meat exports from Pakistan and anticipates a favorable resolution to the ongoing issue.
In a statement released on Thursday, TDAP emphasized its active efforts to address the recent ban imposed by the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment on sea-based exports of fresh chilled meat from Pakistan. TDAP further disclosed that the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai had formally requested a meeting with the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment to present Pakistan’s perspective and comprehensively address the concerns raised by UAE authorities.
TDAP asserted that the consulate’s mission is to alleviate the UAE authorities’ concerns while strongly advocating for the ban’s removal. The authority remains optimistic about finding an amicable solution to this matter and resuming exports of fresh chilled meat to the UAE.
