Toyota Indus Motors Company has announced that it achieved its highest ever Monthly sales in Pakistan by selling record 6,775 units in July-2021.
Toyota IMC sold 4,535 units last month as monthly sales dropped by 3% on lower sales of the Yaris sedan and the Hilux truck.
However, the Yaris remains the most popular sedan on the market in terms of demand and may have played a major role in the revival of the Toyota IMC.
The Pakistani auto industry is likely to see strong sales and huge profits, especially in July 2021. The strong sales in July’2021 is due to deferred sales of June’2021 by consumers as the government announced significant tax reduction for cars effective from 1st July’2021. Resultantly, many consumers deferred their purchases to benefit from the tax reduction.
Furthermore, a record level of car financing has also pushed car sales in the country., as Interest Rates remained at a multi-year low level.
