Ufone has collaborated with Giesecke + Devrient Mobile Security (G + D) to launch the first eSIMs nationwide. The Ufone eSIM platform allows subscribers with a compatible phone to integrate multiple SIM numbers directly into their phones or Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
The launch of e-Sim eliminates the need for physical installation of SIM cards. Customers can also download data plans and delete old SIM profiles on the same device without the need to physically replace SIM cards. Ufone’s eSIM service is available throughout Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, a Ufone spokesperson said,
This technology is available for a range of eSIM-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets, wearables, and IoT devices. It is also available for all phones that support this feature, such as the iPhone 11 and 12 and all variants thereof, including the dual SIM iPhone XS, XR, and XS max phones.
Other compatible phones: Samsung S21, Samsung S20 Series, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy S20 +, Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Z flip, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40, Google Pixel 4 XL, Google Pixel 4, Google Pixel 3A XL … And the Google Pixel 3A.
