Senior military leadership, on Thursday, reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to providing full support for ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing socioeconomic growth within the framework of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). They also pledged wholehearted assistance to the government in combating illegal activities that undermine economic stability, growth, and investor confidence.

The 259th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), chaired by General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), was convened at GHQ for this purpose.

As per the ISPR, the conference paid heartfelt tribute to the supreme sacrifices made by Shuhadas, including officers and personnel of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and citizens who laid down their lives to ensure the safety, security, and territorial integrity of the nation.

A Fateha was offered in memory of the martyrs, and it was emphatically stated that the State of Pakistan and the armed forces will continue to hold Shuhadas and their families in the highest regard, perpetually honoring them with utmost respect and dignity.

The conference also commended the nationwide observance of Defence and Martyrs Day on September 6 by all segments of society. The Armed Forces of Pakistan expressed deep gratitude to the nation for this collective display of patriotism and remembrance.
