China has refuted media areports about slowly withdrawing its financial support to Pakistan pledged under China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
While Replying to a question In a press briefing in Beijing, Zhao Lijian, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the media reports are false and both China and Pakistan are in agreement to bring forward CPEC mega project.
The spokesperson said the CPEC International Coordination and Cooperation working group held its 2nd meeting last week, in which both China and Pakistan re-affirmed their commitment to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.
