Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday conveyed his congratulations to the Ministry of Commerce and the exporters for reviving the exports of Pakistan amid Pandemic, when exports of neighboring countries declined.
Through his Twitter account, he said: ‘I have received the regional export trend and this shows that, compared to our exports, the exports of India and Bangladesh for Nov/Dec 2020 showed negative growth. I wish once again to congratulate the exporters and the Ministry of Commerce for this achievement’.
An infographic shared by the Prime Minister depicted that India saw a decline of 9.07% in exports during November and 0.80% in December. While Bangladesh witnessed a meagre growth of 0.76% in November and a decline of 6.11% in December.
In comparison to this, Pakistan showed a growth of 8.32% in November and 18.3% in December.
