- Monthly growth of 14.5% in large scale manufacturing is the highest in any month in the last 12 years
Large Scale Manufacturing (LSM) increased by 14.5 percent in November 2020 as compared to the same month in 2019, as per the data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
The aggregate output of LSM Index for the period July-November 2020 increased by 7.41% compared to July-November 2019.
The production in July-November 2020 has increased in Food, Textile, Beverages & Tobacco, Pharmaceuticals, Coke & Petroleum Products, Chemicals, Non Metallic Mineral Products, Automobiles, Fertilizers and Paper & Paperboard while it decreased for Iron & Steel Products, Leather Products and Electronics.
