It was followed by China, where total exports to the country grew 16% year on year to $ 1.64 billion from $ 1.4 billion in exports in the same period last year.

Other destinations where exports grew were Germany and the United Arab Emirates, where Pakistani exports in 10MFY21 reached an average of $ 1.245 billion and $ 1.2 billion, respectively. Exports to Germany rose 12% year on year, while exports to the United Arab Emirates were down 12% year on year.

With respect to other countries, Pakistani exports to the Netherlands during 10MFY21 totalled $ 922.8 million, up 9% year-on-year, followed by Afghanistan and Spain with $ 828.7 million and $ 668.8 million. US dollars respectively.

In April 2021 alone, Pakistan exported $ 456 million worth of goods and services to the United States, up 73% from April 2021.

China and the United Kingdom followed with $ 235 million in shipments (down 109% yoy) and $ 183.97 million (down 74% yoy) respectively.
