Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade and Industries, has said that Pakistan’s exports in the first month of this fiscal year 2022 stood at the strong level of $ 2.3 billion, the highest in the month of July.
High exports in July brought huge relief for Pakistan, which is grappling with growing current account deficits and pressures to repay billions of dollars to international creditors.
In its latest monthly economic forecast, the Ministry of Finance expected exports to remain at the same level as of this month and therefore the trade balance in goods and services will improve in the coming months.
