Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured the Chinese business community for provision of all possible services as the country appears to encourage foreign investment.
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, a Chinese business delegation met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
The delegation included representative of Easy Prefabricated Homes Pvt. Ltd., La He Trading International Pvt. , CEO of Zhengbang Agriculture Pakistan Pvt. Ltd., CEO of Exert Tech Pvt. Oy Ltd., Challenge Fashion Pvt. Manager. LLC among other.
In recent years, Chinese companies have invested heavily in projects related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), as well as other separate projects.
Both countries also have a Trade agreement, the second phase of which began last year.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong.
The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, Energy Minister Hammad Azhar, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Prime Minister’s Trade and Investment Advisor Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Special Assistant on CPEC Khalid Mansoor and senior officials.
The Chinese Business Delegation praised the government’s investor-friendly policy and expressed great interest in investing in Pakistan. The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation that the government is serious about simplifying business practices.
