State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in consultation with the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (MPD&SI) has initiated a survey of Overseas Pakistanis to evaluate changing trends in remittances and its future outlook. The survey will be available to all Overseas Pakistanis across the globe till January 9th, 2021.
The survey will try to evaluate underlying dynamics which may be effecting recent remittances behaviour, including switching to formal channels, adoption of digital platforms, future plans of moving back to Pakistan, along with number of remittances they expect to send in the next six months.
With the backing from Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MOPHRD), Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI), the said survey is being conducted simultaneously at Pakistani Consulates and Embassies, Overseas Bank Branches of Pakistani Banks as well as online.
SBP and MPD&SI have asked Overseas Pakistanis to actively participate in this short online survey. The survey is very easy to access through SBP survey Website Link Here.
