Anum Qaiser, MP from Scotland has said in the UK House of Commons that the UK wants to increase bilateral trade with Pakistan from £ 3 billion to £ 10 billion to achieve mutually beneficial results.

She Spoke to Mian Kashif Ashfaq, chairman of the UK-Pakistan Business Council, and said improved bilateral UK-Pakistani trade and economic relations would bring progress and prosperity to both countries.

She said that there are about 5,000 British companies operating in the UAE, but there are only 150 in Pakistan, despite the fact that Pakistan is a huge market with more than 220 million people.

Anum stressed that Pakistan must focus on removing bureaucracy and other bottlenecks and ensuring a predictable and growth-oriented tax system to attract more investors from the UK and other countries. Close cooperation with Pakistan, including health, education, green energy and infrastructure.
