The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and private sector universities have decided in principle to grant provisional admission to A2 students, whose exams were rescheduled for October 2021, in upcoming fall semester to avoid waste of students time.

An online meeting was held by HEC officials to address reservations expressed by students and parents as government decides to cancel all exams till June 15 owing to surge in the third wave of COVID-19 in the country.

Hence, in order to accommodate those students whose exams are postponed till October-2021, HEC and some private universities have decided to give such students provisional admissions in upcoming fall semester to save their precious times.

The move came after students and their parents raised their voice regarding waste of precious time amid COVID19 lockdown.
