This article provides a guide on how to check CNIC ID Card numbers online in Pakistan with a picture. The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) offers an online verification system for all Pakistanis to check their CNIC ID cards through their mobile phones. This system has improved the security of Pakistan as the country faces numerous security challenges. It is crucial for every Pakistani to work with NADRA officials to safeguard Pakistan and its citizens.

CNIC Tracking by Message Service to 8008: ID Card Details

To obtain NADRA CNIC details and bio-data, individuals can send their CNIC numbers in a text message to 7000. NADRA’s automated system will respond with the individual’s CNIC ID card details. The Interior Minister of Pakistan has ordered NADRA to recheck the CNICs of all Pakistani citizens after a fake CNIC was found near a drone strike victim. The review is necessary because Afghans are taking Pakistani CNICs, which has led to terrorist activities in Pakistan. The Baluchistan and KPK governments have requested the federal government to repatriate Afghans to their country.

To ensure the accuracy of the system, it is essential to remove retired army officers who work as directors at NADRA as they can easily forward confidential information to their connections. Additionally, there should be a means of checking the identity of everyone on the streets without having to ask them. A new design is expected to be released to stop millions of Afghans from using Pakistan’s CNIC to travel abroad illegally.

A training seminar on the National Contingency Plan for the re-examination of the NADRA online portal was held for NADRA staff under the specific guidance of the Hon. CH Nisar, Minister of the Interior.
