The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has announced that coronavirus vaccination certificates will become mandatory for domestic air travel from August 1.

On Saturday, NCOC announced that from August 1, all passengers must present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate to travel within the country. NCOC has urged citizens to get vaccinated before August 1 to travel effortlessly.

Previously NCOC had said that non-vaccinators would not be allowed to travel by air from 1 August. The center also set a deadline for the private sector, small, medium and large industrial workers, factory and market workers, the media, lawyers, who must be vaccinated by 31 July.

The NCOC also ruled that workers in the transport sector, gyms, hotels, wedding halls and mosques must be vaccinated by July 31, and students over 18 will be vaccinated by August 3.

Over the past 24 hours, 366,477 doses have been administered across the country. So far, 2,491,918 doses have been administered since the start of the vaccination campaign.
