The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has approved partial vaccination certification to be made available to people who have received the first dose of COVID19 Vaccine and who wish to travel abroad.
The certificate will be issued through the electronic system of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), while the NHS has the power to amend the certificate as needed.
The partial vaccination certificates are required by those who are travelling abroad and intend to take second dose in any foreign land.
Meanwhile, during a meeting of the National Petroleum Committee with the Federal Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Omar, the Forum reviewed the implementation of standard operating procedures for the prevention of COVID19 across the country.
NCOC expressed concern about the lower level of compliance with standard operating procedures and decided to take all possible steps to ensure that standard operating procedures are followed after the mass vaccination campaign.
Consequently, NCOC has instructed all provinces to monitor the non-compliance with standard operating procedures to mitigate the possible spread of disease in the country.
It is worth noting here that the government has stepped up the vaccination campaign, but so far only 7.9 million persons have been vaccinated.
