Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to allow only COVID Negative tourists in the province starting from 1st of July to ensure the safe operation of the tourism industry.
A provincial government spokesman said all guests, hotels, tour operators and other services had been ordered to vaccinate their staff in accordance with national vaccination policies. In addition, when booking tourist rooms in their facilities, the government has imposed an obligation to collect negative PCR / RAT COVID-19 messages for all hotels and guesthouses.
The spokesman added that vaccinated guests and passengers must provide copies of vaccination certificates to the management of the hotels or guesthouses in which they intend to stay.
From 1 July, guests aged 40 and over will not be able to book hotels unless they submit their vaccination certificates or a negative test for COVID-19 to the competent authorities.
