The Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh has unveiled a new mobile application called “Pakistan in Saudi Arabia” to facilitate overseas pakistanis.
According to the embassy, it is now possible to submit online various applications, including Iqama and Kafeel applications.
According to the embassy, If required, the applicant can be summoned to the embassy for necessary procedures.
The move came after Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of various complaints against the embassy staff in Saudia Arabia.
The embassy is moving towards automation to reduce the physical load on the staff and streamline the process.
