Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will restart flights to the UK after Pakistan was removed from the UK Red List.
PIA has decided to start charter flights to the UK. PIA operates from Islamabad through a charter company to Manchester and London.
Earlier on Friday, British Government removed Pakistan from its travel red list as authorities there updated their travel instructions.
Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Maldives and Oman are among the eight countries that were delisted from the UK Red List in the latest review.
The UK Department of Transport has also confirmed the transfer from its Twitter account.
“I am pleased to confirm that Pakistan has been removed from the red list. I know how difficult the past five months have been for many who rely on the close ties between Pakistan and the UK. From 4 October, if you are fully [vaccinated], you will not need to take a basic test until you come to England from a country other than red, and from the end of October you can replace the cheaper side stream of a second day of PCR -test. “, The Twitter feed reads.
