QS World University Rankings 2022 has been published where ten universities from Pakistan have retained their positions although still at low levels.
Three universities ranked in the 355-500 band, one university in the 651-700 bank, three universities in the 801-1,000 band and three universities beyond the 1001+ rank band.
QS World University Rankings has various indicators to gauge the ranking of any university. These factors are given weightage and the weighted score is arrived at to rank the university. Theses factors include academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), faculty-student ratio (20%), citations per faculty (20%), International students (5%) and international faculty (5%).

The QS World University Rankings are annually published by British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and are considered prestigious globally.
