National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Pakistan’s Anti-Terror watchdog, has issued a terror alert for Metropolitan city Karachi, conveying that foreign agencies backed terrorists have planned to attack key installations in the city.
The warning issued by the NACTA conveys that key government buildings or installations are on target of the terrorists backed by foreign elements.
“The preparation for an attack in Karachi has been completed,” it said while briefing the Sindh inspector general of police (IGP), provincial Home Ministry, and Rangers were conveyed regarding the threat alert.
Previously, NACTA has repeatedly warned of terror attacks recently being planned for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan province.
