Federal Minister for planning and development Asad Umar, who also heads Pakistan’s National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), has warned against a flight ban for those who have not been fully vaccinated after September 30.
Speaking to the media, Asad Umar, said unvaccinated hotels and guest houses would not be able to book.
He explained: “The fourth wave of coronavirus in the country is weakening, so we will not close the business. If we reach the target of vaccination of 40%, the sanctions can be relaxed. “
Federal Minister Asad Umar said that oxygen demand has doubled in a few weeks, and we have imposed more restrictions in 24 regions, and more restrictions have been imposed in areas where there has been pressure on hospitals.
He said 18 out of 24 counties are seeing improvements, 5 districts in Punjab and 1 district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain locked down for one week.
Asad Umar said schools in 6 districts have been completely closed, closed restaurants in those 6 districts will continue to close, and schools in 6 districts will reopen in accordance with standard operating procedures from Thursday.
