The City administration of Lahore has decided to close all Businesses on Saturday and Sunday to limit the spread of coronary heart disease in the provincial capital.
The closure will apply to all markets, businesses and shops, according to Muhammad Usman, City Government representative of Lahore.
However, critical services such as grocery stores, pharmacies, grocery stores and gas stations will not be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
While the Commissionar of Lahore urged citizens to get essential supplies during the week and not wait for weekend, he said the city-wide closure would take effect tomorrow.
Commissionar Lahore added that the government’s efforts to reduce the spread of coronary heart disease will never be successful unless the public works with the civilian government to comply with the COVID-19 SOP.
