Sigma Motorsports on Saturday launched the electric hatchback Sigma HS Q4 EV in three variants, starting at Rs 21.25 lacs. The car touted to be first electric hatchback in Pakistan, at a starting price at Rs. 18.95 lakh (EVS Standard variant, ex-showroom, Karachi). The car has a driving range of up to 200km on full charge. The electric vehicle has been given five stars at the Euro NCAP crash tests.

Sigma Motors has started bookings in Lahore while it will start nationwide bookings soon. Sigma Motorsports Electric Vehicles are being launched in partnership with United Autos, while initially only Completely Build-Up (CBU’s) will be sold.

The vehicles are being launched keeping in view with the added benefit of various tax exemptions under the new EV policy of the Government.

Sigma EVS is powered by a mid capacity Battery of 70V which can give up to 200km of range on full charge. Although the car is being launched in Pakistan, one critical issue of Charging docks still remain. Currently, there are no dedicated charging docks available in Cities for charging electric vehicles.

The interiors of hatchback is loaded with with 8-inch touchscreen, infotainment system, power-adjustable Side-Mirrors.
