The number of 3G/4G users in Pakistan rose to 99.85 million at the end of June 2021, up from 98.66 million at the end of May 2021, marking an increase of 1.19 million according to the data released by Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA).
The next-generation mobile services (NGMS) penetration stood at 45.61 percent in June 2021, up from 45.09 percent in May 2021.
The number of mobile subscribers in Pakistan increased by 0.77 million to 184.25 million by the end of June 2021, up from 183.48 million at the end of May.
Mobile phone penetration increased from 83.85 percent at the end of May to 84.16 percent by the end of June 2021. Total teledensity increased from 84.99 percent by the end of May 2021 to 85.3 percent by the end of June 2021.

As highlighted from the data above, Jazz remained a leader with the largest 3G and 4G subscriber base (38.45mn) and the highest monthly growth percentage (2.6%). Zong remained the second largest 3G/4G provider in Pakistan (27.5mn users) followed by Telenor (22.26mn users) and Ufone with its modest User base of 10.53mn
