Sindh University (SU) through its The Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) has introduced an E-portal system for around sixty affiliate government degree colleges. The new portal will facilitate more than 100,000 students to apply for associate degree programs (ADPs) at various Sindh University affiliated colleges each year.

Dr. Zeeshan Bhatti, Director ITSC, briefed the Sindh University Officials including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat about the new system at the launching ceremony held at the VC Camp Office.

The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the significance of creating a digital ecosystem for future students. He called it a ‘blessing in disguise’ for off-campus students who, instead of submitting Xerox copies of documents, would now be able to file their admission applications through the new E-portal. This also includes exam forms and required document uploads.

Dr. Zeeshan Bhatti, Director ITSC, further elaborated that students seeking admissions in the Sindh University affiliate colleges can now upload required documents and testimonials by simply signing up into the new E-portal. Focal persons from affiliated colleges will be nominated to support applicants throughout the registration process. The Director further mentioned that the new portal is linked to the offices of the registrar, controller of annual examinations, and general branch for assisting students with their online admission forms.

The prime features of the E-portal include digital on-boarding of affiliate colleges with enrolled student records, downloadable fee challans, digital enrollment cards, filling exam forms, and seeking exam slips without visiting concerned colleges.
